1. The App and these Terms
Speaker Cleaner (the “App”) is an iPhone and iPad utility that plays sound frequencies through device speakers using Water, Dust, and Custom modes. The App is provided by the Speaker Cleaner developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the App, its free ad-supported features, and Speaker Cleaner Premium.
Your license to the App is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”) and the App Store Usage Rules. The Apple Standard EULA governs the software license; these Terms add App-specific rules, safety information, and subscription terms. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Eligibility and Apple Account
You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use and any purchase. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple Account used for downloads and subscriptions and for all authorized activity through that account.
3. Limited license
Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s Usage Rules, including applicable Family Sharing or volume-purchase rules.
You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, disassemble, derive source code from, modify, defeat security or subscription checks, interfere with advertising, or create derivative works from the App, except where applicable law expressly permits an activity that cannot be restricted by contract.
4. Important safety information
- Start at a comfortable volume and stop immediately if you experience discomfort, pain, ringing, distortion, unusual device heat, or concerning speaker behavior.
- Do not hold the speaker near your ear, another person’s ear, pets, infants, or anyone sensitive to high-frequency or repetitive sounds.
- Use the Custom mode carefully. Some frequencies and high volume levels may be unpleasant or unsuitable for particular speakers or listeners.
- Do not charge, connect, or continue operating a device when doing so would conflict with the device manufacturer’s wet-device or liquid-detection guidance.
- The App does not make a device waterproof, restore liquid-damaged components, remove every contaminant, or replace inspection by Apple or a qualified repair provider.
- If a device was exposed to salt water, chemicals, heavy contamination, physical damage, or continued malfunction, follow manufacturer guidance and obtain professional service.
You choose whether and how to use the tones and remain responsible for your device, surroundings, volume level, and compliance with manufacturer instructions.
5. Free version and advertising
The free version may display Google AdMob App Open and interstitial advertisements. Ad availability, format, timing, and content may vary. Advertising may be personalized when the necessary permission or consent is available; otherwise Google may use another permitted serving mode. Your use of the App is also subject to the privacy choices described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Speaker Cleaner Premium subscription
Speaker Cleaner Premium is an automatically renewing monthly subscription that removes ads while Apple reports an active entitlement.
- Price: The App displays the localized price supplied by the App Store before purchase. Taxes and currency treatment may vary by storefront.
- Payment: Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Automatic renewal: The subscription renews automatically for additional monthly periods unless canceled through Apple before the applicable renewal deadline shown by Apple.
- Trials or introductory offers: An offer is available only when displayed by the App Store and Apple confirms your eligibility. Unless canceled before the trial or offer ends, it converts to the displayed paid subscription.
- Cancellation: Manage or cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Restore: Use “Restore Purchases” in the App to ask Apple to restore an eligible active entitlement.
- Expiration: When Apple no longer reports an active entitlement, Premium access ends and advertising may return.
- Price changes: Apple handles notices, consent requirements, and billing for subscription price changes under App Store rules.
7. Refunds and billing support
Apple, not the App developer, processes payments and refund requests. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law. You can request assistance through reportaproblem.apple.com. For App functionality or entitlement-display issues, contact us at [email protected].
8. Availability, changes, and updates
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including for security, compatibility, legal compliance, third-party service changes, or product development. We do not guarantee that every feature, frequency, advertisement, introductory offer, or third-party service will always be available in every country, device, or operating-system version.
You may need to install App or iOS updates to continue using some features. We are not responsible for issues caused by unsupported devices, modified operating systems, unavailable networks, or failure to install required updates.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that harms another person or property;
- use tones to harass, alarm, injure, or disrupt others;
- circumvent subscriptions, ad delivery, consent controls, security, or technical restrictions;
- introduce malware, automate abusive traffic, manipulate ad interactions, or interfere with the App or its providers; or
- misrepresent an association with Speaker Cleaner, Apple, Google, or their affiliates.
10. Intellectual property
The App, its interface, artwork, text, audio arrangements, code, trademarks, and other content are owned by or licensed to the App developer and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Apple, App Store, Google, AdMob, and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. No rights are granted except the limited license expressly stated above.
11. Third-party services and terms
The App relies on services supplied by Apple and Google, including the App Store, StoreKit, Google Mobile Ads, and Google User Messaging Platform. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App. We do not control third-party service availability, ad content, payment systems, account decisions, or external websites.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL REMOVE WATER OR DUST, RESTORE AUDIO QUALITY, PREVENT DAMAGE, OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR, OR BE SUITABLE FOR EVERY DEVICE, SPEAKER, CONTAMINANT, OR CIRCUMSTANCE.
Nothing in the App constitutes professional repair, engineering, health, hearing, or safety advice. Statements about cleaning modes describe their intended purpose and are not promises of a particular result. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of use, lost profits, device damage, hearing injury, or costs of substitute repair arising from or related to the App.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the App or Premium during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot be limited by law, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using and delete the App at any time, but deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, misuse the App, threaten security, or where continued operation is unlawful or no longer reasonably possible. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will survive.
15. Apple-specific terms
- The App developer, not Apple, is responsible for the App, its maintenance and support, and claims relating to it, except for Apple’s obligations under applicable App Store terms.
- If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as provided by the Apple Standard EULA and applicable law. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
- The App developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims that the App infringes third-party intellectual-property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism and are not listed on a U.S. Government prohibited or restricted-party list.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable Apple-related provisions after your acceptance.
16. Governing rules and disputes
The Apple Standard EULA specifies governing-law rules for the software license. For these additional Terms, applicable law and the courts or dispute forums with jurisdiction under mandatory consumer law will apply. Nothing here deprives you of protections that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and provide a clear description of the issue so we can try to resolve it informally.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for future use of the App to reflect feature, subscription, service, safety, or legal changes. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. If a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
18. General
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a lawful reorganization, transfer, or sale of the App, subject to applicable law. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Apple Standard EULA form the applicable agreement concerning your use of the App.
